This is a replay of my interview with Shelby on her show: Lash Boss Radio!
It was neat taking the roll of the interviewee – and super intimidating! It’s different when you’re the one being put on the spot but I really enjoyed chatting with Shelby and everything that we addressed.
In this episode we talk about how I started in the beauty industry, what really stood out from trainers and lash artists that I meet along the years and some of our favourite lash trainers.
We discussed why its so important to take client notes when you’re lashing and how you can troubleshoot when you do have retention issues or an unhappy client.
And we dived into the dark world of mental health dealing with perfectionism, eating disorders borderline personality disorder and how no matter what you achieve you still don’t feel like you’re good enough, craving criticism in order to improve and finally reaching out for help
It’s a good reminder that the only thing that limits us is our own beliefs and if you’re struggling, you shouldn’t do it alone. Reaching out and getting help changed everything for me and I just wish the same thing for you <3 Don’t go at it alone xox
